[10 Jul 2006|12:10pm] [ mood | happy ] It's funny watching ppl fight over h.naoto stuff on ebay.. they think that just bc something starts at $0.99 that they should pounce on it simultaneously after it's only been up for 12 hrs.. Hellllllllooo... it wouldn't cost $200 for a pair of pants if you guys would just wait til towards the END of the auction. Narf. :P *ANYWAY* On July 6th I went to Chicago, met up with Saki and we went to The Taste of Chicago. I was soooooorely unimpressed and it was way smaller than I figured it would be. One of the first ppl I ran into was this bitch at the drink stand who treated me like shit just bc I am white and she is black. She was nice to the black lady next to me and really snarky to me. I wanted to chuck my pepsi bottle at her fat head but I called her a bitch as I walked off. Anyway, despite all that I actually had a lot of fun. We walked around and ate.. and ate some more bc that's all you do there. I got to try a lot of different things but nothing really new and none of it was 'FANTASTIC!!!' or anything. Saw some girl with a Dir en grey shirt, the one with the zombie soldier, so Saki and I debated on whether she was a real jrock fan or just shops at Hot Topic and thought it was cool looking. Then we walked thru downtown.. ahh the memories ♥ It was fun and we wound up at the Sanrio store where we bought matching Cinnamoroll bento boxes, chopstick sets and random other things. I so could have spent sooooo much more there but didn't thankfully. This umbrella was only $7.60, can you believe that?! After that we wandered around and wound up at Borders where we read manga for bit. Then it was off to dinner at Kyoto where we had a discussion with the waitress we always talk to, about pencil cases and cute stuff. I really should find out her name, we talk to her enough after all! Later I went home. On the 8th, Saki came to visit me bc I didn't really feel like fighting with ppl on the trains bc it was going to be so busy with the Taste going on. We went and saw PotC 2 (Pot-Sy 2.... XDDD). It was good but basically more of the first.. only slightly not as good.. dunno. I think it's getting cheesey or something. It went on and on and on too.. it's over 2 hrs long o_0; Still it was fun and I wasn't expecting that ending. Will definitely go see no. 3. Then we went to Hot Topic.. saw more of the same nothing and ended up going back to PetCo.. where we adopted our first child, Totoro the chinchilla... XDDD omg he's so cute. My mom can't seem to remember his name though. She's called him Rotoro and Todoku and all sorts of things besides his name... XDDD Found out today the rest of my credits transfered to DePaul too.. so I'm happy about that. Now to finish the placement exams, sign up for Premiere and to figure out this plus loan thing! heheh ok, I'm done. off to work! 18 comments|post comment
